This morning we enjoyed our first school mass of the year. The children read wonderfully and sang like angels. Father told us about Jesus choosing His apostles and how we are stronger if we stick together in our faith. He showed this by asking a couple of children to break a matchstick which they did easily. Then he asked someone to break two matchsticks together which was a little more difficult but they managed it. Finally, Father Tom asked Mr McConville to break five matchsticks which he couldn't! Very interesting!
