Christ the King Retreat Day.

During our Parish Retreat, Cardinal Newman students came to school to help us. We began by making a boat out of paper, the boat representing Jesus. Then we coloured in a figure, which represents us. After that, we wrote on a fish some of our qualities. We then attached the fish to the end of some string, tied it to a straw and stuck it in the boat. We are fishers of men!As part of our journey of faith, we explored the third Station of the Cross. We did some drama around it and made a beautiful collage which we placed on the altar at Mass. We made a bracelet of beads which helped us think about St. Theresa and her 'Little Way.'Mass was beautiful, a lovely way to complete our Retreat. When we got back to school we showed off our wonderful bead creations. A wonderful day.
