Year 6 children have the opportunity to spend a few days at the Outdoor Activity Centre, Plas Dol-y-Moch. Classes 13 and 14 visit together this ancient manor house that has been turned into a hi-tech learning centre.
| Visits in 2019:
Activities include canoeing, kayaking, orienteering, beach study, rock climbing and abseiling and a trip down a mine. The children don't want to come home as they enjoy themselves so much. Teachers are always delighted to see all the children so enthusiastically involved.
Dol-y-Moch is an experience not to be missed.

A residential visit to Alton Castle is one of the highlights of the school year for Year 5 children.
The children on retreat participate in a variety of activities during their stay including mountain biking, trekking, archery, and survival. Each activity includes an element of reflection and discussion and prayer, and it is through these activities that each child is challenged and encouraged to find hidden strength, learn new skills, and experience achievement as part of a team and as an individual.
