At eleven o'clock this morning, all the children met at the prayer garden at the Scots Lane site for a very special Remembrance Service. Every child made a poppy and placed it either by the statue of Our Lady or in the gardern itself. Father Tom came to read the Gospel and bless our poppies. Father Tom read a beautiful poem called Flanders Fields and a child from every class read either a bidding prayer, reading, prayer or poem. We had a minute of silence followed by The Last Post and we ended our service with Abide with Me. It was a very special and moving service.
