As part of our History topic about the Romans, we designed, made and painted a Roman shield. They look fantastic.
Class 7 and Class 8 met on the playground. First, Class 7 got themselves into the Tortoise and Class 8 tried to fight them back using sponge balls. Then they swapped over and Class 8 got themselves into the Tortoise position and Class 7 pelted them with sponge balls. It was a fun way of learning about how the Romans went to war.
Look at our fantastic Roman shields.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
