Year 3 went to Saint Mary's to experience walking through the Door of Mercy. It was a wonderful experience to do something so special during this Year of Mercy. We looked around the Church at the different signs and symbols, the beautiful altar, pulpit, stations of the cross and the stained glass windows. We were lucky to be able to go into the little Chapel at the side of the altar where we said our own personal prayers. At the back of the Church there is a little room where a relic of Saint Faustina and a Huge painting of the Divine Mercy are kept. This was very special for Class 7 as Saint Faustina is their class saint! We all said the special prayer, 'Jesus. in thee I trust.' This was a wonderful afternoon, a fantastic start to our Sacramental preparations.
