Whole class reading of ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’. Writing activities will be based on the novel. These activities will include play scripts, newspaper articles, diary entries, letter writing.
Spelling: Prefixes, Investigating, letter strings, homophones, words with common roots, verbs with irregular past tenses, high frequency words
Grammar: Use of commas, adverbs, speech marks, apostrophes to mark contraction and possession, exclamation marks
Comprehension: Read and study a variety of texts.
