Class 12

Welcome to Class 12

A reminder that tomorrow is the children's sports morning, please ensure your child has applied sun-screen before school, has a hat and a water bottle.  Thanks

Wednesday, class and whole school photographs are taking place, children are to wear full winter uniform.

Friday is non-uniform day and children are asked to bring in a bottle for the tombola school fete.

On Monday 20th June Class 11 and 12 start their Design Technology topic of Marbellous Structures.  This is where children will be designing and making a marble run.  In order for us to be able to do this we are requesting as many cardboards tubes as possible, for example paper towel rolls, toilet rolls (which we will clean with antibacterial spray before use), foil rolls, wrapping paper rolls etc

These can be sent in to school from tomorrow (Wednesday 8th).

Thank you for your support.

Mrs Johnson, Mrs Nicol and Mrs Hogan

I've enjoyed getting to know the children over the past week and I am looking forward to spending the rest of the term with them.  A gentle reminder that reading records need to be in school everyday.  The expectation is that they read every night and an adult signs their book.  We have started work on our chosen book 'The Nowhere Emporium', if your child has not finished reading it yet please could this be a priority as it's linked directly to their lessons.

As of next week we will be  reintroducing the 'Global Mile.' Please can you send your child to school with an old pair of trainers which can stay in school and a spare pair of socks as the fields can get very muddy and wet. We will be taking part every  Thursday morning so children will already be in their PE kits.

PE KITS – PE kits will need to be worn on a Wednesday and Thursday.

HOMEWORK – Homework will be given out every Monday and will be collected in the following Monday.  Spellings will be tested every Tuesday morning.

READING Reading records and reading books need to now be in school each day.  We expect you all to read every night and will check this every afternoon.

EQUIPMENT You need to bring in your own pencil case including pencil, crayons, felt tips and a glue stick.  Water bottles are to be brought into school as well as a piece of fruit for morning break.

You can now bring lunch in a lunchbox.
