Good morning my Little Buttercups,

I hope your are all keeping well this lovely, windy Friday morning.

I'm not long in from my walk.  Can you guess who I met for our distanced walk?  Yes, Mrs Adams and crazy Daisy.  We took a different route this morning, we walked over the horse field, under the New Road bridge, across the old stone bridge, up through the nature cemetery, up the lanes, down by the church and back round onto the field.  It was really lovely, not too sunny, a little breezy, but just right!  I saw lots of new shoots growing which made me think of all the seeds and plants that you are growing.  I'm sure you are continuing to water them and talk to them.

I have seen that you are doing some wonderful work.  I have noticed that your handwriting is improving nicely, don't forget, just like everything else, practise, practise, practise!!  I must say, that is the secret, practise, my 8 times tables are coming on well as I have already said.

I hope you have been able to get out and enjoy the sunshine of late.  It's not as hot or sunny today, but it is really lovely, a nice breeze as well.

There is some super work happening in your I Belong Books, I love the way Lucia has used gold pen to write in her book.  It makes it look even more special.

Have any of you had any exciting 'sleep overs' in your own homes?  Noah had a sleep over in his wonderful attic, how exciting.  I wonder if you had a midnight snack Noah?

Has anybody looked at Mr Hadlum's activities?  Let me know how you get on.

I have been listening to Dan and Emily, their tunes are really very catchy!

Well, I can't believe it's Friday again and the end of a half term!!  Where is the time going?  It's half term next week so enjoy.  It's still May, so don't forget to think about Our Lady and maybe try to find different prayers to her.  You already know the Hail Mary and Hail Holy Queen, can you learn another one?  Let me know.

Anyway my Angels, take care and don't forget to wash your hands often, say your prayers and make your bed as soon as you get out of it!

Lots of love from Mrs Williams X X

Good morning my Little Rays of Sunshine,

Happy Ascension Day!!   There is a lovely picture above for you to look at.  Go on line, if you can, and have a look at all the different pictures of the Ascension.  Maybe if you have time, you could have a go of one of your own, maybe with a modern twist?  Who would you put in your picture?  Mmmmmm, that's interesting, I know who I would put in mine.

I'm just back from my morning walk quite late as I didn't want to get wet!  Ohhh deary me, what am I like?

I just happened to bump into Mrs Adams and crazy Daisy again this morning by the pond.  We had a lovely distanced chat and then Mrs Ball jogged along.  Now, Mrs Ball used to work at Christ the King as well, she was the recorder teacher.  You won't remember her, but I'm sure some of your older brothers and sisters might.  It's getting quite warm out again and the forecast for the rest of the day is good.

Well done for all the hard work you are doing, I can't believe it's Friday again tomorrow.  Where are the weeks going?  I think we have another couple of days with TTR's.  I must say, I am beginning to become more confident with my 8 times tables and my inverse facts are improving as well.  Just as well after allll these years!!  Hee hee.

I have been going through some of the work I saved that Paul and Hannah competed at Christ the King.  Ohhh the memories.  I went up to the attic to sort a bit more but spent hours looking through their work and didn't sort anything at all.  I really couldn't throw any of that out, not that I ever wanted to.  So, I'll have to go up another afternoon and carry on the sorting and clearing!

Anyway my angels, I'm getting ready for Mass now.  I hope to 'see' you all there, if you know what I mean!

God bless and have a wonderful Ascension Day.

Take care and remember to wash your hands often, say your prayers and make your bed as soon as you get out of it!

Lots of love from Mrs Williams X X

20.05.05

Good morning my Little Honey Buns,

I hope you are all keeping well.

I have just got back from my morning walk around the Wedge.  I met up with my friend Mrs Adams and her dog Daisy for a distanced walk.  Some of your parents might remember Mrs Adams, she used to work at the Infant school.  Lily, Anna and Vincent, your mums or dads might remember her.  Daisy is a lovely springer spaniel and is on the go all the time.  It was very warm this morning, so I think it will be a very hot day today.  Make sure you put on some sun cream if you go out in the sun.

I hope your seeds and plants are growing well.  I have noticed from your photos that they really are coming on a treat! Well done, just think, some of you will be able to eat what you have grown.  How exciting!

How is the TTR's going?  I think we are slowly climbing that ladder, we haven't got long left before the end of the competition.  We can do it if we all pull together!

I'm delighted that some of you have signed up for Epic! Books.  Let me know how you get on Aiden, Alex and Eve and let your friends know what books you recommend.  I'm going to go back on the site today and have a bit of an explore to see what else it offers.

I was walking home yesterday and was delighted to meet Paige, her mum and Buddy as they were on their walk as well.  We had a lovely little chat, you both look very well and Buddy is absolutely gorgeous!

I am very impressed with all the hard work you are doing, but as I always say, don't forget the fun things as well.

We are still in the month of Mary and I have noticed your beautiful art work.  Don't forget to think about Our Lady during the day and say a Hail Mary or/and Hail Holy Queen.  You have sent me some beautiful prayers as well for help during this time.  Remember that your prayers are very powerful children, Our Lady always hears your prayers.

I know some of you aren't doing Joe Wicks any more, but I know that you are doing lots of other exercise instead which is fantastic.  You are riding your bikes, playing football, playing cricket, climbing trees looking for insects and lots of other exciting activities.

I miss you all.

Anyway, take care my angels and remember to wash your hands often, say your prayers and make sure you make your bed as soon as you get out of it!

Lots of love from Mrs Williams X X

Don't forget, it's the great Solemnity of the Ascension tomorrow. 'See' you at Mass!
Have a look at the link below.  It looks really, really good.  Let me know what you get up to!  Enjoy my angels!

19.05.2020

Good morning my Little Rice Krispies,

I hope you are all well this beautiful morning.  It is absolutely gorgeous so far.  I'm so glad I got the grass cut yesterday as it rained a bit in the night.  The rain will do all your seeds and plants the world of good, they like the rain water.  Don't forget to talk to them as well!!

Has anybody been able to add to my butterfly list, cabbage white so far!  All your plants, when they flower, will really attract the butterflies and bees.

I know you are all working so hard doing lots of different activities at home.  You are doing your school work but you are also cooking, cleaning, gardening, making things, doing woodwork, sewing, to name a few.  These are all fantastic life skills children, but really good fun as well.  I love how you are working with your parents and your brothers and sisters.  I know it's very strange, but as I've said before, it's a special time as well.  You are all together, sharing and doing things together.

Thursday is  a Holy Day of Obligation which means that we should try hard to get to Mass.  If we were at school we would be going to Mass, so it would be lovely if we could all join for Mass as a school family on Thursday at 9.30.  I know it'll be on line, but we'll be together in a way.  I have seen some of your pictures of Our Lady, you are even more artistic.  The colours you are using are wonderful, just like all the pictures you created for the video.  I still have tears in my eyes when I watch it!

There is a great reading resource that sounds great.  Eve has been using it and recommends it.  So, you need to get on to the website which is www.getepic.com and click logon as student and click student and the class code is ahq2139        I have added you all to the list, click on your name and explore.  I hope you enjoy it, let me know how you get on!  You can choose any book you like to read.

Miss Sullivan sent the leader board for TTR's from across the MAC.  It lists all the schools and where they lie, and then, all the classes and where they lie.  Well, the good news is, Christ the King is at the moment in first place. However the bad news is, ooooohhhh the very bad news is, out of 40, Class 7 are 36!!!  I couldn't believe my eyes.  What is going on, we were doing so well, but now......  Come on now, we need this, get on those devices and let's get up that ladder.  I'm in school today, so I shall bring my i-Piddypaddy and crack on!!

Anyway my darlings, I'm sure we will quickly run up that ladder now.

Remember, try to contact me in some way at least once a week, it's so lovely to hear from you all and I miss you.

Take care my angels, try to get out for some fresh air and don't forget to wash your hands often, say your prayers and make your bed as soon as you get out of it!

Lots of love from Mrs Williams X X

Happy birthday to you,

happy birthday to you,

happy birthday dear Ruby,

happy birthday to you!!!

Have a wonderful day and weekend Ruby.  Hope you have lots of cake!

18.05.2020

Good morning to my Gorgeous Little Angels,

I hope you and your families are keeping well and enjoyed your weekend!

What a strange weekend it was as well.  We should have enjoyed your First Holy Communion and the May Procession over the weekend, but obviously we were unable to.  I was feeling really quite down last week coming up to the weekend but your video really, REALLY cheered me up and I am back to the old me now!  I always look forward to First Holy Communions so I was missing you all.  I absolutely LOVE it, and I would like to say a HUGE thank you to each and every one of you and your parents so, so much.  I keep looking at it, and I have a few tears every time, it is so lovely.  I just loved the ending as well, wash your hands, say your prayers and make your bed!   Ha ha ha absolutely brilliant!

I hope you enjoyed your birthday weekend Ruby.  Did you get lots of cake?  Was it chocolate?  Did it have chocolate cream in the middle?  On the top?  Ohhhhh, I'm going to have to stop and get some breakfast!

Well done children for all the hard work I know you are doing.  The photos are wonderful too!

Alex sent in a video of him doing his times tables, I was very impressed.  Mum or dad would shout out a calculation and Alex answered it very quickly.  That brings me on to say, please don't forget the TTR's, we need to get ourselves up that leader ladder.  Just ten minutes a day, twice a day would make a great difference.  I am going to get back on it as well.  Come on children, we can do it!!

I'm not long back from the Wedge, I was a little later this morning and it was SO busy.  I can't remember seeing so many people walking their dogs down there!  I fed the ducks with frozen peas, I wasn't able to see the ducklings, they were probably on the island.

Well, I haven't seen too many different birds, so I'm looking out for butterflies now instead.  Let's do a butterfly identification list.  I saw a cabbage white! Ha, I know some of their names but I might have to look some up on Google, good old Google!!

Keep up the super work my darlings, don't forget to wash your hands often, say your prayers and make your bed as soon as you get out of it!

Thank you all again and your parents!

God bless!

Lots of love from Mrs Williams X X

Mrs Davis sent a picture of her VE Day tea. We all had a wonderful day.

Good morning my Little Sugar Puffs,

I hope you are all keeping well.

It is so much warmer today so please try to get out into the garden for some fresh air.  How are the seeds going? I bet they are starting to sprout.  It's lovely that you have sent me photos, but please don't worry if you can't, I know you are all doing your very best.  I am very proud of you all!!  I still haven't got into the garden, I got lost going down the bin earlier on.  I'm sure there is a group of scouts camping out by the garage! Ohhhhh deary, deary me!

Thank you all for all your messages, I love to read them and try to respond as quickly as I can, computer allowing of course!  A little reminder that we are now into our TTR competition with other schools, get on there and lets get up that leader board.  Don't feel threatened by it, just give it a go.  You might remember that my problem is the 8 times tables, still not brilliant but I am getting a lot better thanks to TTR's.

I really love all the wonderful art work you are doing as well, the pictures of Our Lady are absolutely gorgeous! Well done, I'm sure Our Lady will be blessing you all.

I'm having difficulties knowing what day it is.  I thought it was Saturday until half an hour ago!  I've done my Saturday routine, are you having the same problem?

How's the cake baking going, remember, I would like to sample them all when we get back to school!

I know you are working through your books and text books but make sure you have fun as well.  If you find that you can't keep up with the work we have put on for you, please do not worry.  I know that you are all the most conscientious children I have ever taught, so do what you can do.  Really try to enjoy these times, I know that seems a strange thing to say, but you are all together.  Are you playing games?  I loved played connect 4 with my two, and monopoly, Paul was always the banker and he was such a cheat!!! Ha ha!

Right that's it!! I'm going to have to go into the garden!  Wish me luck, I might not be seen for some weeks!

Anyway my darlings,  I miss you all so much, keep safe and don't forget (I bet you know this by heart now!) wash your hands often, say your prayers and make your bed as soon as you get out of it!

Lots of love from Mrs Williams X X

14.05.2020

Good morning my Little Honey Buns,

I hope you and your families are keeping well and safe.

I have just been out for my walk, the ducklings are getting bigger, the birds are tweeting beautifully and everything is so green.  I do hope you can get out for some fresh air, remember how important Vitamin D is for you.  It was really quite frosty this morning, but a beautiful clear sky, I love these sorts of mornings!

These are the sorts of days that I miss Spuddy, he loved his walks around the Wedge.

I will giving shout out soon!  Screen is flashing a bit now, so I will go in case it doesn't send.

I really miss you all.

Take care, make sure you wash your hands often, say your prayers and make your bed as soon as you get out of it!

Lots of love from Mrs Williams X X

13.05.2020

Good morning my Little Rays of Sunshine,

I hope you are all keeping well.

I've been having a few problems with the internet here, so I hope you will get this.  It's looking good though!

Well!

Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Kylo, happy birthday to you!!

Have a really brilliant day Kylo, enjoy!

Well I know you are all working so hard, I am certain that I will be able to respond to your emails now.

Don't forget to smile!!  I had a lovely walk, at a safe distance of course, with Mrs Walsh.  We had a really good chat and it made me feel better.  I still miss Paul and Hannah of course, but we do chat on the phone.

So, take care my little angels, make sure you wash your hands often, say your prayers and make your bed as soon as you get out of it!

Missing you all.

Lots of love from Mrs Williams X X

11.05.2020

Good morning my Little Angels,

I hope you are all keeping well.  Did you all manage to have some sort of 'party' on Friday.  All my neighbours were out in their front gardens, we had music, tea and cakes!!  It was really lovely, the weather was good as well.  I have had a bit of a problem with the internet at home so I am sending this message in from school.  I will reply to your emails as soon as I can.

I know you are all doing lots of good work and fun things as well.

I was so excited this morning, I was looking out of my bedroom window and a woodpecker ran up the telegraph post!  The ducklings are getting bigger by the day, I had to go and buy more frozen peas, they love them!

Are you enjoying Dan and Emily's music?  They really are quite catchy tunes, I end up humming them all day!

I hope you are managing to get out in the sunshine during the day, a bit nippy this morning though!

You can see the new learning mat for this week, just keep going through the text books as well.  Keep up with the TTR's, you'll all know your times tables like the back of your hands!

Anyway, I'll go now and start up the Joe Wicks YouTube for the children.

Take care my angels and make sure you wash your hands often, say your prayers and make your bed as soon as you get out of it!

I miss you all.

Love from Mrs Williams X X

7.05.2020

Good morning my Little Ducklings,

I hope you are all keeping well and smiling!  I know that you are all working very hard so well done to you all.  I am very proud of you all during these strange times. I'm not long in from my walk around the Wedge and this is the second time I have written messages to you.  The first one refused to save!!  Anyway,  the ducklings are getting a little bigger each day, it's lovely to watch them grow and become more adventurous.  They are getting braver as they are venturing further away from their mother every day!  I was looking at them this morning and trying to decide which one of you would be the ducklings. I did have a bit of a giggle about that!  I was a bit annoyed with myself however, as I'd forgot the frozen peas!  I've put a note on the fridge so I don't forget tomorrow, I'll bring some lettuce as well if I have some left!   I didn't see or hear the woodpecker this morning but did hear and see a black cap!  He looks just like a tree sparrow but has a black cap!  Hence the name I suppose!  On the way back, I bumped into a friend who I haven't seen for a few years.  We had a good catch up from an acceptable social distance of course, I taught both her children here at school some years ago.  Ohhhh the memories!

Aiden is continuing to work really hard in his English and maths and his science work is coming on a treat.  Your information text and illustrations for planting seeds is very good.  I'm impressed!  I'm delighted that you are now on your 12 times tables,  I can really smell that prize now!  Well done Aiden and keep up the good work!

Kylo is also continuing to work very well in his English and maths, I know you enjoy Spelling Frame and Hit the Button. What a lovely idea to have a Scavenger hunt in the garden with your brother Leo and your daddy, how exciting!  Well done for teaching Leo the Hail Mary and for finding lots of different names for Our Lady.  I'm sure Mary will be smiling now and saying a prayer for you both.  Well done Kylo and keep up the good work!

The sky was completely clear and blue first thing but it seems to be getting a little cloudier now.  Never mind, still get into the garden for some fresh air and check on your seeds and plants.  Talk to them, they will enjoy that! Ask them if they would like a drink or if they have enough soil or sun!  It might just work!

After this shut down, I can see all of Class 7 having green fingers and expert bakers - hopefully!!  Ha ha.

Take a look at the TTR's poster below to see how we are getting on.   Are you able to get onto the Parish live stream for the Rosary at 7.00 pm?  It's really lovely, I think of you all at this time and say a little prayer for you.  Has anybody managed to create a little altar for Our Lady during this month of May?

Where can you find cities, towns, shops and streets but no people?

When things go wrong, what can you always count on?

What answer can you never answer yes to?

What becomes wetter the more it dries?

Ha ha, any ideas??

Well take care my Little Cherubs, make sure you wash your hands often, say your prayers and make your bed as soon as you get out of it!

I miss you all.

Love from Mrs Williams X X

Good morning my Little Flower Pots,

I hope you are all keeping well.  I'm not long back from my walk around the Wedge, the birdsong is beautiful!  I was walking across the horse field when I spotted a woodpecker on the ground.  I have never seen one on the ground before so I was stopped in my tracks!  I watched him for a while until he flew into a tree.  Woodpeckers really do have quite an individual call, quite loud as well!  When I walking back, I noticed there are twelve little ducklings on the pond.  Luckily, I remembered to bring some frozen peas with me!  Frozen peas and lettuce are very good for them, bread, not so much.  Sadly I have run out of the duck food that can be bought at the pet shop.

Gracie has been riding her new bike which she got for her birthday and playing with her archery set.  Sounds like great fun Gracie!  I know you have been doing lots of work in your English and maths books, well done.  At the moment, you are reading Slime by David Walliams, make sure you write a short review telling us what you think about the book and if you would recommend it to your friends.  Well done Gracie for using Zoom to help you with your English work.  I am very impressed with your science topic, ' Gracie's Green Finger Garden' giving step by step instructions on how to plant seeds.  Well done for all your hard work Gracie, keep up the hard work.

Alex had planted some sunflower seeds, dahlias and carrots as part of our science topic.  I know you are looking after your seeds very well, watering them and giving them plenty of light.  It's so exciting waiting for our seeds to start sprouting and watching them grow.  Even more exciting that you can eat what your grow, nothing tastes better than fruit and vegetables that you grow yourself!  I'm really impressed with the jaffa cake cake Alex, it looks soooo tasty!  Well done for all your hard work Alex, keep up the hard work.

Kylo has been planting sunflower seeds as well.  The birds, bees and butterflies will absolutely love living in Coundon, so much food for them to eat.  I'm very impressed with your baking chocolate brownies Kylo and measuring all the ingredients out accurately.  They look quite wonderful!  I know that you are continuing to work through your English and maths books as well.  Very well done Kylo and keep up the hard work.

Muireann has been working very hard in all her text books.  I really enjoyed your cross and your Easter Garden Muireann, very artistic.  I'm very pleased to see that you are baking as well.  I don't know which would be my favourite, the strawberry and blueberry flapjacks or the apricot gold digger biscuits?  I suppose I would have to taste them to decide!!!  Ha ha.  It's lovely to see you doing things with your family Muireann, clapping for  the NHS with Daithi.  I wonder who made the most noise Daithi with a saucepan and spoon or you on your megaphone?  The jigsaw of Ireland you completed with Caolan looked very complicated, well done.  I'm very impressed with the bird feeder you made out of an old plastic bottle, the birds will love it.  Noah and Genevieve will be delighted that you are recycling!  I loved the outfits you and Daithi wore for Dress Up Friday with Joe Wicks.  I think that your dad very much appreciated your help when painting and repairing your climbing frame, dad's need all the help they can get!!  Well done Muireann for all the hard work you have done and all the fun as well!   Keep up the hard work Muireann.

Sahara is continuing to complete wonderful work in her English and maths books.  I'm so impressed with your Spirograph designs, the colours are gorgeous.  I can't believe that you actually made the Spirograph, you must have followed the instructions very carefully.  Well done Sahara and keep up the hard work.

Aiden is continuing to work really hard in his English and maths books.  I know that fractions are very difficult, so well done for sticking with it.  Keep up with the TTR's as well Aiden, you really will have your times tables cracked!  I'm very impressed with your research into King Charles II Aiden looking at Horrible Histories to find interesting facts.  Your illustrations are very good as well.   Well done Aiden and keep up with the hard work.

James is continuing to work very well through his English and maths books and reading as well.  It's lovely to see you entertaining your neighbours when you are all out clapping for the NHS!  The guitar is a super touch James, I bet the neighbours really look forward to it!  Well done James and keep up the hard work.

Well, very well done to you all during these strange times.  It's wonderful that you are doing lots of fun things as well.  I think it is very, VERY important that you keep practising your baking skills as I would like to have tasting sessions as soon as we get back to school!! Tee hee hee!

Carry on working through your text books and reading!  As you know reading is soooo important, if you can read, you can teach yourself to do anything!  Try to get out for a bit in the garden or out for a walk if you can.  You can practise riding your bikes Gracie, Ruby and Amelia!  Remember, you can do anything if you set your minds to it.  Keep up with the TTR's as well and learning a new language, how exciting!

How can you make seven even?

How do you make a lemon drop?

Well take care my Little Angels and don't forget to wash your hands often, say your prayers and make your bed as soon as you get out of it!!

Love from Mrs Williams X X

Have a look at the TTR's leaders table!!  Let's get on our i-Piddypaddy's and win that prize! Good luck to us all!!

5.05.2020

Good morning my Little Petals,

What a gorgeous morning.  I'm just in from my morning walk around the Wedge, I was a little bit later this morning and I saw lots of people walking their dogs.  I think I heard the chiff chaff again this morning, he just sounds like his name.  How is the bird watching going? I really must get out into my garden, there really is no excuse now the weather is improving!!

Vincent has been very busy keeping up with all his English and maths work and is really getting on with TTR's as well.  I'm delighted that your neighbour gave you some sunflower seeds to plant, the bees, butterflies and insects love them!  The PicCollage is brilliant Vincent, I'm really glad that Edel and Buddy helped you.  It's lovely to do things as a family.  Well done and keep up the good work Vincent.

Rhylie has completed a step by step guide to planting seeds including some fantastic photos.  It'll be so interesting to find out what it is you have planted Rhylie, how exciting!  I know you are doing lots of maths and English work as well Rhylie.  Well done and keep up the good work.

Cormac has been reading Beast of Buckingham Palace - it looks very exciting.  You will have to tell me what it is about Cormac as I haven't read that book before.  You could let us know what you think and if you would recommend it to your friends.  I know you have been working hard on your English and maths as well Cormac especially 'Hit the Button' which you really enjoy!  Well done and keep up the good work Cormac.

Well done to you all who are continuing to work hard at home.  I know it is very strange, but that light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter and brighter!  Keep up with your English and maths but don't forget the fun things as well.  How is the new language going? The singing?  Are you enjoying singing with Dan and Emily?

Cormac gave me an idea, you could write a short review of books that you would like to recommend to your friends.  Just say why you thought it is good, who it is geared to and give it marks out of 10.  You already have a list of books, but I know you have lots of books at home as well.

Keep up with the TTR's, we really NEED to win that prize, keep going.  I'll get on there as well!

Well children, I really hope you can get out into the garden or for a walk today, remember, we need that Vitamin D!!

Take care my Little Cherubs and don't forget to wash your hands often, say your prayers and make your bed as soon as you get out of it!

Love from Mrs Williams X X

4.05.2020

Good morning my Little Rays of Sunshine,

I hope you all had a really wonderful weekend.  Well, the forecast for this week is so much better than last week, so fingers crossed!  Did many of you mange to join us for the Rosary so far?  I have been thinking of you all during that time. I would be nice if you could find a little space somewhere to make a little altar to Our Lady. All you would need is something blue, your Rosary beads and a statue or picture of Mary.  You could of course draw a picture of Our Lady, I think she would like that!!

James, well done for starting your science topic.  You have created a wonderful detailed report of your planting and what you needed.  Super idea for using YouTube to help.  You can do just about anything you put your mind to.   Well done James for all your hard work, keep up with the reading, writing and number work.

Lily has also started her science topic choosing dahlia seeds to plant.  I love the way you started your work with a colourful front page telling your audience exactly what your topic is about.  Lovely that daddy and Evie got involved as well.  Keep up the good work Lily.

Alex has been very busy helping to paint his bedroom.  I am very impressed with your painting skills Alex, I love the colour as well.  I know that you are working hard in all areas Alex, keep up the hard work.

Maisie is still making cakes, how fantastic is that?!  I like the idea of a jaffa cheesecake Maisie, mmmmmm!! Yummy, yummy, yum, yum!  Well done for starting to learn Spanish Maisie, that will really help when you all go off on your holidays to Spain.  Just think, you could order whatever you fancy when you go out for dinner, mummy will never know! Ha ha.

Well children, I know these are very strange times but I think there is light at the end of the tunnel now.  Just keep on doing what you are doing, smile and be kind to each other.  I know you are missing your friends as well, I am missing all of you, but it's great to be able to 'speak' to you!

How is the bird watching getting on?  I have a wood pigeons nest in the tree in the front garden, it is lovely to watch the parents take turns sitting on the nest.  In the back garden there is a blackbirds nest in the hedge.  They come out every day to eat the seed I put out for them.  It is very noisy around the Wedge first thing in the morning, I'm getting better at identifying their songs now.

Well done to all of you who are learning a new language - I'm very impressed! So we have Maisie learning Spanish, Lucia continuing with French, are there any other new languages being learnt out there?

How's Joe Wicks going?  Did his wife take over for a day?  I thought I heard that.

Our new learning mat is at the top of the page.  Just continue to work through it and use your text books as well.  Don't forget that all this learning at home will really help when we get back to school.

Try to get out into the sunshine this week and get some healthy Vitamin D on your skin.

What starts with a P, ends with E and has thousands of letters?

What has to be broken before you can use it?

What begins with T ends with T and has T in it?

Take care children and don't forget to wash your hands often, say your prayers and make your bed as soon as you get out of it!

Good morning my Little Bunnies,

WHITE RABBITS, WHITE RABBITS!!

Well children, today is the first day of May, I really can't believe it!  First of May already. FIRST OF MAY ALREADY!!

Remember that we think about Our Lady during May.  It would be lovely if you could join us for the Rosary at 7.00 this evening.  As I said, it doesn't take very long at all.

Harry has been doing some wonderful work on his book - Beast Quest.  A super character description Harry and a great illustration.  I'm sure you are doing lots of other work as well.  Well done Harry, keep up the good work.

Eve is continuing to work really hard in her text books.  Eve and Erin have been having food tasting sessions, experimenting using their senses to see if they know what they are eating.  How exciting Eve!  I wonder if you got them all right?  I'm very impressed with the beautiful birthday card you made, I'm sure the person who receives it will be absolutely thrilled.  I'm delighted that you have planted some seeds, make sure you record what you need to do and what happens to your seeds Eve. Your PPT is very interesting.   Well done Eve and keep up the good work.

Lucia and Viki started planting even before the lockdown took place and the results so far are fantastic.  I love all the colours of your pansies girls, beautiful.  The bees and insects will find them irresistible.  I know that you are continuing to work hard in all areas Lucia, very well done.  I'm delighted that you are engaging with Duolingo, Mrs Donaldson will be impressed!  Well done Lucia, keep up the good work.

Thank you Aiden for continuing working on the TTR's, you will have all the times tables truly cracked by the time we get back, which hopefully won't be too long now!  I'm glad you are finding BBC Bitesize such a help.  I would love to hear you and your brother singing along with sing and shine!  I bet you sound like little angels!

I know you are continuing to work hard in your text books as well Aiden.  Well done and keep up the good work.

Kitty is working very hard in her text books and getting on very well with her spellings, spelling frame and working well in her I Belong Book.  Are you enjoying your reading book Kitty?  Slime by David Walliams.  I really hope you win the competition you have entered Kitty.  Good luck!  You look so different with your hair down Kitty and it's PINK at the ends! WOW!!! Lovely.  Ooooh I was just looking, my hair is going white at the ends, both ends and in the middle!! Is this a new fashion do you think Kitty!! We are trend setters!  HA HA.

Well done Kitty and keep up the good work.

I know you are all working hard children.  Keep up working through your books but make sure you have your fun time as well.  I'm delighted that some of you have managed to plant some seeds, don't forget, you could use seeds from and apple!  Interesting.  Keep going with the singing, TTR's, Mathletics and spelling frame.  It'll all put you in good stead for when we get back.   I know some of you have started learning more French on Duolingo.  I'm going to give it a go as well!

It's the weekend again, I hope the weather gets a bit better.  The forecast looks quite good for next week, so, fingers crossed.

What do you call a fairy that has not taken a bath?

What type of cheese is made backwards?

What two things can't you eat for breakfast?

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.  Keep smiling and being kind.

Remember to wash your hands often, say your prayers and make your bed as soon as you get out of it!!

30.04.2020

Good morning my Little Rays of Sunshine,

I hope you are all keeping well.  Hopefully you will be able to get out into the sunshine today, it looks quite promising at the moment!

As you know, tomorrow is the start of May.  During May we think particularly of Our Lady, 'May is the Month of Mary.'  At school, we would continue our prayers to Mary and it would be lovely if we could do this with our families at home.  Father Tom and Father John recite the Rosary every evening at 7.00pm.  We could try as a class and hopefully school community to meet at this time to say the Rosary.  We know how powerful prayers are, but especially your prayers.  I go on line every evening and it's quite lovely and it doesn't take very long at all.  I bet lots of your grandparents tune in as well.  Remember that we could always say the Angelus during the day, you might need to teach your parents though!!  I know that wouldn't be a problem for you though.

Lets see how we get on!!  As part of our topic work next month, we could research Our Lady.  She is referred to by many different names.  We know some ourselves, Our Lady of Knock, Our Lady of Fatima, Our Lady of Walsingham and Our Lady of Lourdes.  So, go on line and see what other names Our Lady is called.  You could take notes and illustrate as you will see that the images are quite different and maybe make it into a little booklet.  I think you will find this really interesting!

I know that you are all working very hard at home but remember to have some fun as well.  I'm so pleased that some of you are perfecting your cake making skills, if you know what I mean!!! Yummy!  Ha ha.

Just carry on working through your books, write anything exciting in your diary, you really don't want to forget these days as we will be going down in history!  When you are all old and grannies and grandads, your grandchildren will be asking lots of questions about 2020.  Don't forget the Time Capsule sheets you could use.  See below, quite far below!

James has been continuing to work very well in all his text books.  I love the piece of writing you did James about the imaginary creature that lives in the sand who grants wishes.  How lovely that you wished for the virus to stop and go away.  This brought back some lovely memories as I recalled watching this on television with my brother Paul when I was a little girl!  YES everybody, I DID have a television when I was little.  They were invented waaaayyyy before I was born!  It was very big and took up an awful lot of space, but, it was a telly.  Well done James for starting a project on VE day which we will be celebrate that day next Friday.  There are lots of worksheets and colouring sheets on line that James' mummy sent.  I'm delighted that you have planted some sunflower seeds, the birds and insects will love them.  You are very kind for making little gifts for your neighbours James, I'm sure that will really cheer them up.  Well done James and keep up the hard work.

Noah has been doing lots of fun activities as well.  I am very impressed with your den in the garden Noah.  It has been created on the trampoline in the garden.  I don't think I would be brave enough to sleep in a sleeping bag in the den, but then, I was never a cub.  I was never a brownie either thinking about it!  I'm sure you will be receiving your badge for that one!  What a super idea to make a life size hug for Grandma.  You made a life size picture of yourself and sent a photo to your Grandma, it made her cry and brought a tear to my eye too!  What did you use to colour your rainbow cheese toastie. WOW it looks gorgeous! Yummy!  Well done for completing some work as well, I don't know how you found the time!  Lovely work on the Resurrection account writing as the character of Peter.  Ohhh yes, very good choice, I can just see you as Peter.  Well done, you are working so hard Noah.  Keep up the good work!

Kylo is continuing to work very hard in all his text books.  I'm impressed that you are working so hard in your comprehension books and you have written a short story.  Super work.  I'm sure you're still baking as well, you are becoming quite a dab hand at that now.  I know you are continuing to work hard on your times tables, I know they're not easy but we know that if you keep at it every day, we'll crack it!  Very well done for all your hard work Kylo.  Keep it up.

Well,  I hope you have a wonderful day.  Hopefully, as I have said, you'll be able to get out for a bit.  Check your plants/seeds if you've managed to plant them yet and record what's happening.

There is a lovely prayer that we can say to end this virus.  I will hopefully put it at the top of the page.  Keep an eye open for it!  It might take me some time, ohhhhhh Finnian, Finnian!

Don't forget the singing at 2.00pm, the link is below, somewhere!  La la la!

Take care my darlings.  Smile, be kind, make sure you wash your hands often, say your prayers and make your bed as soon as you get out of it!!

Lots of love from Mrs Williams X X

29.04.2020

Good morning my Little Rain Drops,

I hope you are all well.

Please have a look at yesterdays message as well as I had some trouble - where is Finnian when you need him?

I included names of the competitors in Father John's competitions.  They were very impressed with all the entrants, so, very well done.

I'm going to attach a few email addresses that you might find helpful.  Don't feel overwhelmed though and anything you don't understand, email me.  Remember, I love to hear what you are up to!

You already have a wonderful singing site for those amongst us who would like to warble a little!  Find that address in yesterdays message.

I know you are all keeping very busy, but try and get some fresh air as well.  Remember we talked about Vitamin D and it's great importance.  I know, I know, we get Vitamin D from the sun, but, we can live in hope for the rest of the week!!  Ha ha ha.

Riddles:

I'm always on the dinner table, but you don't get to eat me. What am I?

What's bright orange with green on top and sounds like a carrot?

What can you hear, but not see or touch, even though you control it?

Well my cherubs, I hope to add some more sites for you later.

Make sure you wash your hands often, say your prayers and make your bed as soon as you get out of it!!

Good morning my little Honey Buns.

Well I really hope you have enjoyed the sun over the past couple of weeks because it's all rain now for a while.  That's great though as we need a drop of rain for our growing!!  Delighted to see that Finnian has been planting chilli seeds and created a very informative powerpoint saying exactly what he has done.  He even wrote a note saying CHILLIES ARE HOT. Well done Finnian.

Well done to Kylo who has made another beautiful cake, it was chocolate!!!  You have been working very hard in your text books as well.  Well done Kylo and keep up the hard work.

Aiden has been going for some lovely walks around Lake View Park.  He even heard a very noisy blackbird the other morning.  You will need your wellies on if you go out today!!  Such a good idea playing Hit the Button and watching BBC Bitesize every daily. Super division work as well. Really good learning going on.  Keep up the good work.

Well done to Paige for creating a wonder piece of work all about Narnia accompanied by a fantastic illustration.  Keep up the good work Paige.

Maisie has been doing lots of exciting things as she has recently moved into her new house.  What colour have you decided for you bedroom Maisie?  It's great Maisie that you have just got your new bike and you have been exploring the countryside around your new home.  Would you believe, there is a old castle nearby. WOW!  I'm delighted that you are making chocolate cakes as well, very exciting!  You are working very hard, keep up the good work Maisie.

Well done to Ruby who has kept going and practised and practised, and now you can ride your bike without stabilisers. Fantastic!

Gracie has been bird watching spotting a couple of robins in her garden and a grey squirrel!!  Lovely that you have been able to play in your pool during the recent hot weather.  Well done Gracie.

I know you have all been working hard.  It just seems very strange that we are not back at school for the final term of the year.  I'm sure things are starting to get better now.

Don't forget to carry on with Joe Wicks!  We'll all be as fit as fleas before we get back to school.

Some of you have started your planting already, very well done.  For some of you who haven't, don't worry, you can start when you have got the seeds.  Or you could plant out seeds from an apple?  That would be interesting.  You could go online and look for ideas.  BBC Bitesize is great.  I know Aiden uses that for a lot of his work.

Very well done to Teddy, Lucia and Viki who were among the winners for the Palm Leaves competition.  The photos that you sent me were fantastic, I'm sure it was a very hard decision for Father John!

Very well done to Alex, Genevieve, Lucia, Muireann, Noah and Teddy who created fantastic Easter Gardens, Father John was very impressed.

Father John was also impressed with the Easter Egg creations so well done to Betty!

Just a reminder, I am sending out the Spring Reports this week.  If you haven't sent me an email on the Class 7 email address, and you would like a copy, please send me an email and I will forward it on.

Children, you are all quite amazing during these very strange times!  Keep smiling, being kind, wash your hands often and make sure you make your bed as soon as you get out of it!!

Take care my lovelies!

Lots of love from Mrs Williams. X X

Good morning my little Cherubs.

I hope you all had a really wonderful Easter, with lots and lots of lovely chocolate Easter eggs!  I hope you managed to spread them out a little bit!  I wasn't, I ate mine very quickly!   Ohhhh dear.  I really missed not meeting up with my children and little Abigail though, maybe that's why I ate my Easter eggs so quickly!

Well it's back to 'school' again have a look at the learning mat to see what's going on.  You can work through your texts books which I sent home at your pace.

Do try to get out into the sunshine when you can.  I have been enjoying walks around the Wedge very early in the morning so I didn't manage to see anyone!  However, I did hear a chiff chaff, a little bird but I couldn't see him.  I did tell you about the woodpecker on the big tree in the middle of the pond didn't I?  Cormac saw a woodpecker on one of his runs around the lanes, how lovely.

I have noticed when I have been out, that a lot of children are creating some masterpieces of chalk art work on the footpaths.  I must say, they really do cheer me up!!  Keep up with your wonderful art skills and baking, I will gladly sample any cakes or biscuits or cookies when we come back.  You'll be well practiced!

It is lovely to see your work, you don't need to send me every piece of work.  Choose your favourites, I love to see them.  Remember though, you need to email me at least once a week so that I know that we are all fine.  It still seems very strange, but we are getting there.

Did you manage to watch Easter Sunday Mass with Father Tom and Father John, it was lovely.

Don't forget Joe Wicks, TTRS, Mathletics and Spelling Frame are great ways to carry on learning.

Just to say a very happy birthday to Gracie today.  Happy birthday Gracie.smiley

So, don't forget to wash your hands often and say your prayers!!  I hope you have been making your bed as soon as you get out of it!!!

8.04.2020 - Maundy Thursday

Good morning my little cherubs,

I hope you are all keeping well.

Today is Maundy Thursday and it's when we hear about Our Lord's Passion.  Don't forget to read the passage in your little Bibles.  The next three days are the most important in our Church's year so try to 'attend' some of the Masses.  Father Tom and Father John with be concelebrating  Mass tonight at 7.00 o'clock.  Of course tomorrow is Good Friday and that's as you know, is when we think of Jesus' great sacrifice for us.  Mass tomorrow is at 3.00 in the afternoon, the time when Jesus died on the cross.  Then of course, Mass on Easter Saturday to celebrate the Easter Vigil then Mass on Easter Sunday.  Do try to go online so we can all celebrate these important times together.  It's very strange this year, it was always so busy at this time of year, but I'm sure things will get back to normal fairly quickly.  Lots of prayers I think!

Well done to Lucia who is battling on with TTR's and Spelling Frame and is continuing to read her Bible.  You made a wonderful Easter Garden out of Lego, don't forget to send a photo to Father John.  Viki created a wonderful brochure all about Greece.  I'm very impressed with the 'Welcome to Ecuador' brochure, it was so interesting and full of facts that I really want to visit now!!  I am delighted that you are making your own salad, it looks so healthy.  Very well done Lucia and keep up the good work.

Would you believe, Cormac spotted a sparrow hawk on his fence, just looking around looking for his next meal.  That will look fantastic on our Class 7 bird watch chart!  Well done Cormac.

Aiden is continuing to work through his English and maths work.  Great work completed in your Roman topic as well Aiden!  I really loved your Easter Garden, a Garden in a big plant pot - fantastic.  Don't forget to send and photo of your Garden to Father John.  Very well done Aiden.

Amelia has done something quite amazing - she has taken off her stabilisers and is now whizzing around her back garden.  A great achievement Amelia, well done.  You are carrying on with your times tables and have started to look at division.  Well done Amelia.

I know you are all working so hard children and not just on your school work.  Well done to you all.

Remember, this will be the last call out until after the Easter break.

Don't forget to send your competition entries to Father John.

I have put on some more activities that you might like to look at.  Remember, this is now the Easter break so try to have a rest.  We need to be fit as fleas when we get back.

Just a call out to those of you who will be celebrating birthdays during the holiday:

Happy birthday to Rourke who will be celebrating his birthday tomorrow, Good Friday.

Happy birthday to Genevieve who will be celebrating your birthday on the 17th.

I wish you a very happy day.

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Rourke and Genevieve, happy birthday to you.   Hip hip hooray!smiley

Take care of yourselves and each other and remember to wash your hands often and make your bed as soon as you get out of it!

Lots of love from Mrs Williams, God bless. X X

Good morning my little sugar puffs,

I hope you are all keeping well.  It's not as sunny today but that's no excuse not to be out in that garden!  You could be counting the birds, weeding the borders or bouncing on your trampoline, if you have one.

Well done to everyone for working so hard.  You have been doing lots of wonderful things.

Well done to Noah who starts the day with Joe Wicks and manages to get a bike ride around the block as well.  Very fit Noah!  I loved the way you were a TV journalist for the Entry into Jerusalem.  Very interesting.  Keep up the good work Noah.

Well done to Ruby who has created a wonderful newspaper report on the computer - 'The Jerusalem Times.'  I thought I was reading the real paper!  Keep up the good work Ruby.

Well done to Vincent who has created a most amazing Roman shield, very impressive, but then you are very arty Vincent!  You have also learnt a lot about the Romans, your topic work is excellent.  I'm glad you're keeping up with your spellings, that'll really help when we get back to school.  I loved your diary entry as Peter, very moving.  Your newspaper report was very interesting as well.  Well done Vincent, keep up the good work.

Well done to Kylo who has created a wonderful Easter Bonnet.  Make sure you send a photo to Father John for the competition.  I'm delighted that you are getting on with TTR's, we really do need to win that prize.  That was a very tasty looking biscuit that you decorated, did it taste as nice as it looked?  You are getting lots of English and maths work done and I'm delighted that you are reading your little Bible.  Well done Kylo, keep up the good work.

Well done to Cormac, who on top of all the wonderful English and maths work he is completing, managed to run a 3 mile distance with Kieran and his mum.  I am very impressed.  Could we include you hearing the woodpecker on one of your runs on our Class bird watch? Mmmm, maybe we should.  How exciting, try to spot him next time.   Well done Cormac and keep up the good work.

Well done to Genevieve who has created a beautiful Easter Garden.  Don't forget to send a picture to Father John for the competition. I know that you have been doing some wonderful English and maths work as well.  Keep up the good work Genevieve.

So lots and lots of fantastic work has been going on.

Did anybody get yesterday's riddle?  Mmmmmm!

Today's riddle:   How many months has 28 days?

Tomorrow will be the last shout out as it will be the Easter break.  Make sure you take care of yourselves and each other.

Take care and don't forget to wash you hands and make your bed as soon as you get out of it!!

Love from Mrs Williams X X

Good morning my little sugar plums,

I hope you are all well and looking after each other!

It's another beautiful day, so try to get out into that garden for some fresh air and Vitamin D.  I noticed that lots of you have trampolines in your gardens, that really is fantastic exercise. Not too high though, I don't want you landing in next doors garden!!

Well done for all the hard work that I know you are doing.

Well done to Lucia for a wonderful Roman topic.  I thought the ruling system was very interesting.  I know that you and your sister Vikki are very artistic.  Wonderful use of a big box, you painted one side brightly with a lovely rainbow and on the other side, a night scene!  Very impressive!  I know that looking at photos are a lovely reminder of happy times, I love looking at photos as well, especially when the children were young.  I am very impressed with the housework you two are doing, emptying the dishwasher as a team.  Well done, I think that will be your job from now on!  The palms you made were wonderful, especially now that they have been blessed by Father Tom.  It's nice to see you doing other activities as well, exercising on the trampoline and planting seeds.  I'm pleased to see that the bird watch is going well, a wonderful photo of a cheeky magpie eating from the bird feeder.  Keep up the good work girls!

Well done to Teddy, you are working really well at home.  I love the fact that you have a nest of blue tits living in your garden.  How exciting, you'll be able to see them taking their first flight.  I bet you are doing lots of arty things as you love making things.  Speaking of which, what a fantastic cash point machine you have made to help play money games.  Make sure that Spencer plays with you!  Great that you Face Time your friends.  I know it's so hard being out of a routine Teddy, but I am very proud of you, keep up all the hard work!

Good morning my little cornflakes,

I hope you are all well.  Have you made your bed yet?

There is a wonderful website that you can go on, it's Dan and Emily from One Life Music.  They have put together a wonderful liturgy for us all.  It will be weekly and you will be able to access it through this link.  I have listened to this and it's lovely, especially now with Holy Week coming up.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NL-kS4ZP6hs&feature=youtu.be

It's well worth a visit.

How is the Class 7 bird watch going and have you been able to answer the riddles?

Well done to Noah who did answer the riddle.  I know you have been doing lots of work Noah, thank you for all the photos.  I am so impressed with your cooking skills, the meat balls look so tasty!!  I'm so glad that you have been able to get into the garden for some fresh air and sunshine.  Keep up the good work Noah.

Well done to Kylo who is doing lots of super work as well.  Lovely maths colouring sheet, very impressive.  I'm very happy that you are making your own lunch, that looked very tasty as well.  You have made a super start with your Roman topic as well.  I loved your dog, a beautiful lab, what is his or her name?  Keep up the good work Kylo.

Well done to James who has completed lots of English and maths work but is doing extra!  You have been researching different countries and drawing and colouring their flags.   I also liked the prayer you wrote for Father Tom, you should email it to him.  Keep up the good work James.

Well done to Lily who has been working hard on her maths and English work.  Particularly the cup cakes, oooooh, what a wonderful skill to have! It was so thoughtful and kind that you gave these to your neighbour, I bet that really made their day.  How kind!  Lovely that you were able to go out for a bike ride with your daddy, some fresh air and sunshine, super!  Well done for getting the answer to the riddle!!  Well done Lily and keep up the good work.

Well done Cormac on all your hard work.  I must say, your cross and palm are beautiful.  A great start to Holy Week next week.  Keep up the good work Cormac.

Well done to everyone who has worked hard this week.  Email me what you have done.  I will try to file all the photos so we can have a look at them when we get back to school.  Don't worry if you can't, that is not a problem.

Don't forget to have your palms ready for 9.30 Mass on Palm Sunday and Father Tom will bless them for us.

It would be lovely if you could email Father Tom, I think he is getting a bit lonely in the house with Father John.

Are you still managing to get some exercise in every day?  Joe Wicks, bike rides, trampolining or anything else you can think of that's safe!

Keep up with the Class 7 bird watch and make sure you wash your hands often and make your bed!

Today's riddle:

I'm tall when I'm young and I'm short when I'm old.

What am I?

Take care my angels, don't forget to say your prayers.

I miss you all.

Good morning my little flowers,

I hope you are all well.

Did you get the answer to the riddle?  I know Noah has as he has messaged already today.  Well done if you got the answer which was 'breath.'

Any look with the Class 7 bird watch?

I clocked a gull on the garage roof and I could hear a woodpecker but I couldn't see him.  I don't suppose that counts then.  Let me know what birds you see, you could take a photo as well, if you're quick enough!

Very well done to Noah who has made a most amazing Palm in preparation for Palm Sunday.  Noah's mummy has put a instruction video on the PTA website so that might be helpful.  Noah has been doing lots of great work.  Noah has also face timed some of his friends including, Ben, James, Finnian and Genevieve.  I hope you hall had a good chat!

Don't forget to make your palms, you could use Lego?

Today's riddle.  Who will be the first to answer it?

There's a one-story house where everything is yellow.  The walls are yellow.  The doors are yellow.  Even all the furniture is yellow.  The house has yellow beds and yellow couches.  What colour are the stairs?

Good luck.

Take care my angels, make sure you wash your hands and make your beds.  Maybe now you could start thinking about making your own breakfast?  Try to get out for some sunshine, remember vitamin D is so important for us.  Are you still tuning in to Joe Wicks, if not, make sure you do some sort of exercise.

I miss you all.

God bless.

Love from Mrs Williams. X X

WHITE RABBITS, WHITE RABBITS!!

First of all I would like to sing:

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Anna,  happy birthday to you!!!!

Have a really wonderful day Anna, I hope you manage to have lots of cake!!

Enjoy.

Well done to Aiden who has done lots of English and maths work.  You are keeping up with the times tables as well. Super, we'll be creeping up that leader board!!  Well done, keep up the hard work!

Well done to Kylo who has also completed lots of English and maths work.  With your help, we really will be climbing up the TTR leader board.  It was lovely to see you playing so well with your little brother. Well done and keep up the hard work!

I can't believe it is the first of April!  A bit cloudy today, but never mind.  Make sure you get some fresh air during the day.

I was sitting at the table doing some work yesterday and I noticed the different birds that came into my garden.  There were a few wood pigeons, blackbirds, magpies, a robin and a load of tree sparrows.  I thought we could do a Class 7 bird watch.  Let me know what birds you have spotted in your garden.

A riddle:

This is as light as a feather, yet no one can hold if for long.

What am I?

As you know, it is Palm Sunday this Sunday.  I thought it would be good if we could all make a palm. It could be made out of anything at all, paper, card, twigs, material, it doesn't matter.  I was 'talking' to Father Tom yesterday and he said he will bless them after Mass on Sunday, so make sure you tune in and get your palms blessed!  Take photos of your palms and send them to me!

Take care my little angels.

Missing you all so much.

God bless, make sure you wash your hands and make your beds!!

Good morning my little rays of sunshine!

What another beautiful day.  If it’s not too cold, try and get out into the sunshine for a while. You can check out how the flowers and bushes are bursting into life.  Look at the trees, the buds are starting to emerge, my favourite time of year.

I’m sure you are helping mummy around the house.  I hope that bed has been made!!

Any Lego or jigsaws going on? I found mine, there are lots and LOTS of pieces!  Mmmmm!  I might just cut the grass first, or sort out the attic, or tidy the garage!!

How’s your sessions with Joe Wicks going?  I haven’t got over the first session yet!! Hee hee!  Have you been able to get onto the David Williams free audio books?

I have been very impressed with all the homework you have completed and all the different activities you have been engaged in.  I’m delighted with the cake baking, mmmmmmm yummy! Keep practicing, I’m looking forward to sampling them!
