On Friday 13th eight of our pupils travelled to a football tournament and what a talented bunch of boys they were- scoring 26 goals and conceding only 8!
The boys played 3 group games, they ended up winning two and drawing one. They then progressed to the next round which ended up going to golden goal. Every two minutes a player had to leave the pitch, CTK was down to the last 2 players and the boys managed to score another goal. The next round was played straight after. With the boys still tired from the game before, they gave everything they could and the game went to golden goal again. They were whittled down to the two last players. We unfortunately conceded a wonder goal which the keeper couldn’t have possibly stopped.
The talented boys represented the school so well, their coaches were extremely proud.
On Thursday 23rd March our Year 5 & 6 high five team played against St John Vianney in the final. From the first whistle, the game was very even and competitive! After four nail-biting quarters, unfortunately the final score was SJV 5 - 4 CTK. Well done to our team for their hard work and team work throughout the match.
Well done to Freddie who was nominated as player of the match.
