Johann Sebastian Bach
In class 7 we learned about Bach here are some of the facts we found out through our research:
- he was born in Germany
- he became a music teacher
- he had over 10 brothers or sisters
- Bach became a church organist
- singers still draw inspiration from Bach's work today
- Bach went to prison for his beliefs but used his time behind bars to compose music
- He married his second cousin, Maria and they had over 20 children
Class 7 used oil pastels to create a piece of art whilst listening to Bach's music
Roman music
In class 7, we listened to Roman music and learned about the different types of instruments the Romans had and how they played them.
